About this site
This site answers date questions: which week it is, how many days until something, what the calendar and the public holidays look like for a year in a given country.
It is built to answer first. The number you came for is the first thing on the page, at a size you can read across a room, and everything else follows underneath.
How the dates are worked out
Week numbers follow ISO 8601, with the US convention shown alongside on English pages. Easter and the feasts that move with it are computed, not looked up. Equinoxes and solstices are computed from a standard astronomical algorithm. Public holidays come from an open dataset, cross-checked against a second independent source, with our own corrections recorded where the two disagree and we have an authority to cite.
